I like your advice of telling them not to sell it...too many poor outcome of that.. I would love to some day to visit them but I'm in the process of finishing school so low on budget...I think that maybe the best way to help is with education and economic development and support...I have some ideas in mind but we'll see what happens

The first step we need to do is to visit them. Many of them owned their own land. But I'm afraid they will sell their lands to the Vietnamese. Because some of their lands has already been sold. I'd told them not to sell their land anymore...

The Hmong in the area are still poor. They don't really have any access to earn money. Many of the Hmong teenager girls came to work as a tour guide for the tourists. Though they get pay around $10 a day. Most of them travel to Sapa by foots, and some by motorbike. Their housing are still poor.

Kenji, hope you had fun and learned much about Hmong in Vietnam with this trip. Any other future trips planned? How were the Hmong in this area of Vietnam? Hows their living condition? Sorry if I repeated something that you might have mentioned in the Hmoob writing. I'm not that great at Hmoob.
